Writing to us
An email to supporto@floraclue.com with three lines is enough. If you can, add:
- your phone model and whether it is Android or iPhone;
- what you were doing when it happened;
- a screenshot, if there was an error message.
Do not send us personal data that is not needed: to help you we do not need to know who you are.
Cancelling the subscription
Cancelling is done from the store, not from the app: the store is the one holding the payment. You stay Pro until the end of the period already paid for.
On Android
Play Store › tap your picture top right › Payments and subscriptions › Subscriptions › Flora Clue › Cancel subscription.
On iPhone
Settings › your name at the top › Subscriptions › Flora Clue › Cancel subscription.
If you cancel during the free trial you pay nothing, as long as you do it at least 24 hours before it ends.
Refunds and receipts
Payments are collected by the store, so refunds and receipts go through it.
- Google Play: play.google.com, or Google support’s refund procedure.
- App Store: reportaproblem.apple.com.
If the request is refused and you think you are right, write to us: we can support it with the store.
I changed phone
The subscription is tied to your store account, not to the phone: install Flora Clue on the new phone, open Profile › Restore purchases and you are Pro again.
The diary, on the other hand, does not move by itself. With no account, plants, photos and reminders live in the app’s storage: if the new phone restores the system backup — Google or iCloud — you find them again, otherwise you start over. That is the price of never asking you for any data.
Deleting my data
Deleting a plant removes it from the phone, with its photos. Uninstalling the app removes everything the app has saved.
There is no account to close because we never asked you for one: nothing on our servers is linked to you. If you have doubts or want written confirmation, write to privacy@floraclue.com. The details are in the privacy notice.
The diagnosis was wrong
The result has a button that says exactly that: “The diagnosis was wrong”. Pick what did not add up and, if you like, write two lines. That report reaches us without the photo and is how we check whether the confidence we state is deserved: it is the reason the app can say “I am not sure” instead of inventing.
The light measurement is missing
Measuring with the sensor works on Android. On iPhone the ambient light sensor is not accessible to apps like ours: there you state the light by answering a question, and the diagnosis takes it into account just the same.
